Official Institute trainings in Lithuania — from the first level through to international certification.
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on therapy developed by the osteopathic physician Dr. John E. Upledger on the basis of research carried out at Michigan State University between 1975 and 1983. The therapist works with about five grams of pressure — the weight of a small coin — listening to the craniosacral system: the membranes and the cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and the spinal cord.
The method is used for chronic pain, migraines, long-standing tension, autism spectrum conditions and the after-effects of trauma. It does not do for the body what the body cannot do — it creates the conditions for releasing what has been held.
Integrative Therapy and Training Center is the official and sole representative of The Upledger Institute International in Lithuania. This means that the trainings held in Vilnius are the same ones held at the Institute’s other representations: the same program, the same Institute-approved instructors, the same certificates.
Graduates are listed in the international practitioner directory IAHP.com.
The levels follow one another — each builds on the previous one. All trainings are held in person, in English with translation into Lithuanian.
CS1 and CS2 completed, 75 practice sessions, a written assignment, a theory test and a practical examination.
ADV1 completed, case studies, preceptorship (30+ contact hours), a presentation or a publication.
Both levels are entered in the international practitioner directory IAHP.com and are valid in every country the Institute represents.
